Job summary

OpsArmy is seeking a high-performing startup operator to provide Founder support as a remote EA++. This role is not a traditional EA position and requires working directly with a founder in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where priorities shift quickly.

You will anticipate needs, protect the Founder’s time, and coordinate across time zones while potentially expanding into operations, project coordination, and broader business support as trust grows.

Qualifications

• Direct experience supporting a founder, entrepreneur, startup leader, or senior executive.
• Strong startup experience in fast-moving environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English with polished communication.
• Highly self-directed and proactive—you do not need constant hand-holding or step-by-step instructions.
• Strong business judgment, resourcefulness, and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and wearing multiple hats.
• Able to anticipate needs rather than simply react to requests.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable with AI tools, cloud-based software, and modern technology.
• Able to work early and stay ahead of the Founder, whose workday typically begins around 8:30 AM EST.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize the Founder’s inbox with filtering, drafting, follow-ups, and identifying what requires attention.
• Own complex calendar management and proactively protect the Founder’s time.
• Coordinate meetings across multiple time zones.
• Stay ahead of upcoming meetings, deadlines, commitments, and follow-ups.
• Prepare the Founder for meetings by ensuring relevant information, materials, and context are organized.
• Manage travel, accommodations, reservations, and related logistics.
• Provide light personal administrative support as needed.
• Seamlessly coordinate personal and professional commitments.
• Serve as a polished and professional representative of the Founder with external stakeholders.
• Draft clear, polished emails and correspondence.
• Communicate with investors, partners, advisors, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Understand when to act independently and when to escalate.
• Maintain high professionalism in all communications.
• Follow through on commitments to prevent important conversations and tasks from slipping.
• Support operational processes and documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners
• Keep projects moving and meet deadlines
• Support events, meetings, and business initiatives
• Assist with PR coordination and internal workflows
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and build systems
• Support the internal operations lead
• Take ownership of projects and drive to completion
• Use AI tools and cloud-based software to work faster and more efficiently
• Learn new tools quickly as the business evolves
• Work in a highly digital, tech-driven environment
