Shaw Industries is seeking a Technical Support Representative for both commercial and residential flooring. This remote position requires 60-80% weekly travel to job sites and a hands-on floor installation background.

The role emphasizes problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to work across installations and customer sites. The incumbent will support sales with technical guidance, assist in field starts, prepare inspection reports, and contribute to training and product knowledge

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Commercial Flooring installation experience.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Ability to travel 60-80% to job sites.
• Experience with flooring installation techniques.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support on product, installation, and performance for commercial and residential flooring.
• Support sales reps with projects and field installations.
• Serve as an inspector for field project situations and prepare inspection reports.
• Coordinate travel and appointments with customers; follow travel procedures.
• Assist R&D and QA in development of new products where applicable.
• Train Level 1 & 2 Tech Reps and support training efforts with customers and sales teams.
• Identify local resources to assist field service.
