Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Representative for both our commercial and residential flooring lines.

This remote role requires 60-80% travel to job sites during the week and harnesses hands-on flooring installation experience with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The position supports sales teams, reviews installation and performance, and may involve training others while coordinating travel and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial flooring installation experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Must be able to travel by car and air.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Experience with installation planning and on-site problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Install and inspect commercial and residential flooring projects on site.
• Provide technical support on product, installation, and performance to sales reps.
• Support job starts and field service activities.
• Prepare inspection reports, product reviews, and related documents promptly.
• Coordinate travel and scheduling with customers and field teams.
• Contribute to training of Level 1 & 2 Tech Reps and share best practices.
