Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Technical Support Representative to assist both commercial and residential flooring projects.

The role blends hands-on installation knowledge with strong communication skills, and requires remote work with 60–80% travel to job sites during the week. The candidate will support sales teams, analyze field issues, prepare inspection reports, and share practical guidance to customers, installers, and partners while maintaining professional integrity and safety

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 5 years of Commercial Flooring installation experience.
Extensive understanding of commercial and residential resilient installation processes, methods, tools, and techniques.
Must demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and training skills, with the ability to translate technical information into practical guidance for customers, installers, sales personnel, contractors, and internal partners.

Responsibilities

Industry leading expertise in installation of commercial and residential flooring products in a professional manner; engage customers in all end use environments.
Support sales reps with projects by providing technical support on product, installation, and performance.
Support business on job starts and serve as an inspector for field project situations; analyze problems and propose corrective action.
