Job summary

The Landline Company is redefining regional-to-airline connectivity with a remote terminal concept and a growing fleet of motorcoaches across North America. We seek a Fleet Manager to lead maintenance, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate with OEMs, Finance, and dispatch to optimize reliability.

You will oversee 2–4 direct reports and partner with vendors to build a scalable maintenance program that keeps vehicles within OEM intervals while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in transportation operations, logistics, aviation, fleet operations, or related consulting.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• Strong data and analytical skills using Excel; knowledge of SQL/Python/BI tools is a plus.
• Comfort with AI tools to speed project delivery.
• Experience with fleet management platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the maintenance function with plan, vendors, and data for a growing fleet.
• Build rolling maintenance forecast aligned to OEM intervals.
• Maintain maintenance budget with Finance and variance reporting.
• Coordinate unscheduled maintenance without service disruption.
• Manage parts procurement and pass-through costs with partners.
• Track KPIs such as MTBF and out-of-service days.
