Job summary

Affirm, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Account Manager (L6) to own operational health across the strategic alliance portfolio. You’ll alert, monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure SLA delivery while guiding cross-functional teams on technical inquiries and investigations.

Over 6–12 months, you’ll build a book of merchant accounts, lead integration initiatives, mentor teammates, and drive end-to-end account ownership with a focus on scale and reliability.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in a technical, external-facing role such as Technical Account Management, Solutions/Partner Engineering, or Solutions Architecture.
• Experience in FinTech, payments, or SaaS with a track record of owning operational health and SLAs.
• Ability to scope and deliver complex, open-ended technical work with stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of API integrations and designing custom solutions.
• Strong technical communication for both non-technical leaders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational aspect of technical account management across affirm's strategic alliance portfolio—alerting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and fielding technical inquiries.
• Deliver against SLAs, surface technical risks early, and respond urgently to merchant issues.
• Perform in-depth investigations and root-cause analysis across logs and integration data from end-to-end resolution.
• Drive technical initiatives and partner with internal and merchant stakeholders on launches and adoption.
• Design and deliver high-scope, custom integration solutions built on affirm's standard integrations.
