Affirm, Inc. is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer Leader to guide a high-performing team responsible for technical deal support, API integrations, and merchant engagements. You will stay hands-on while mentoring others, shaping technical strategy, and presenting integrated solutions to merchants.

The role emphasizes leadership in a remote-first environment, close collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Revenue, and ongoing development of technical talent. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualificações

• 4-6+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a comparable customer-facing technical role
• 3-4 years of people management experience
• Hands-on with API-based integrations and at least one programming language

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Sales Engineers, setting clear expectations for technical proficiency, merchant engagement, and performance.
• Actively participate in deals alongside your team, supporting live technical discovery, integration discussions, and solution presentations.
• Partner with merchant technical and business leaders when an opportunity requires leadership involvement.
• Develop and maintain deep working knowledge of Affirms products, APIs, and integration options to evaluate solutions, explain tradeoffs, and resolve blockers.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot integrations in sandbox or simulated environments, and coach the team to develop these capabilities.
• Use AI development tools in your own work and coach the team to apply them when prototyping, integrating, and testing solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Revenue to design merchant solutions and win new business.
• Translate merchant requirements into actionable product feedback and improvements to internal processes.
• Create a respectful, supportive environment with growth opportunities for team members.
