Affirm, Inc. is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer Manager to lead a team that supports complex merchant integrations and technical deals.

You will mentor engineers, participate in live technical discussions, and collaborate with product, engineering, and revenue teams to design scalable merchant solutions. You will stay hands-on in customer conversations while guiding team members, focusing on API-based integrations, tradeoffs, and risk assessment to win new business.

Qualifikationen

• 4-6+ years in Sales Engineering or similar customer-facing technical role.
• 3-4 years of people management experience.
• Hands-on in technical customer conversations and advancing deals.
• Experience building, testing, and troubleshooting API-based integrations.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Excellent communication with developers, stakeholders and leaders.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Sales Engineers.
• Participate in deals with live technical discovery, integration discussions, and solution presentations.
• Partner with merchant technical and business leaders for leadership involvement.
• Develop deep knowledge of Affirms products, APIs and integration options.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot integrations in sandbox environments and coach the team.
• Use AI development tools in technical work and coach the team to apply them.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Revenue to design merchant solutions.
• Translate merchant requirements into actionable product feedback and improvements.
