Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a remote-first Senior Sales Engineering Leader to mentor a team of engineers, engage in live technical discussions, and drive merchant integrations.

You will guide architecture choices, collaborate with engineering and revenue teams, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. Ideal candidates have 4–6+ years in Sales Engineering, 3–4 years of people management, and strong communication skills to translate business needs into technical actions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or technology required.
• 4–6+ years in Sales Engineering or similar roles.
• 3–4 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Sales Engineers.
• Participate in deals with live technical discovery and presentations.
• Partner with merchant leaders to drive opportunities.
• Develop deep knowledge of Affirm products, APIs, and integrations.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot integrations in sandbox environments.
• Use AI tools in technical work and coach others to apply them.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Revenue to win business.
• Translate requirements into actionable product feedback.
• Create a respectful environment with growth opportunities.
