Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineering Leader to mentor a team of sales engineers, guide live technical discovery, and drive merchant integrations across multiple platforms.

You will own product knowledge, coordinate with engineering, product, and revenue, and help craft scalable integration solutions while remaining hands-on in customer conversations. The role emphasizes leadership, technical judgment, and collaboration to win new business, with a remote-first work setup and strong growth

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or technology.
• 4–6+ years in Sales/Solutions Eng or similar tech role.
• 3–4 years of people management experience.
• Hands-on in API-based integrations with some coding.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Sales Engineers with clear expectations.
• Participate in deals, support live technical discovery and presentations.
• Partner with merchant leaders to guide opportunities requiring leadership.
• Develop deep knowledge of Affirms products, APIs, and integration options.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot integrations in sandbox environments.
• Use AI tools in technical work and coach the team to apply them.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Revenue to win business.
• Translate requirements into actionable product feedback and improvements.
