Job summary

Chainguard is seeking a Sales Engineer to assess technical requirements and demonstrate how Chainguard products meet client needs. You will build credibility with decision-makers and secure technical wins through demos, RFP/RFI responses, and POVs.

You will partner with sales to win new logos, grow existing customers, and own the technical scope of opportunities. Travel to events may be involved where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Engineer.
• Experience with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message frameworks.
• Experience selling into Enterprise (3+ years) and Mid Market prospects.
• Solid background in container technologies, cloud platforms, cloud security or app security.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales Team to help customers evaluate and prove value of Chainguard.
• Focus on acquiring new customer logos and expanding existing accounts.
• Own all technical aspects of opportunities and articulate Chainguard value.
• Conduct demos, POVs/POCs; participate in webinars, meetups, conferences and marketing events.
