Job summary

Velera is seeking a Client Delivery Program Manager to work with senior leadership across the enterprise and a client financial institution to develop and execute strategic plans. The role oversees the FI program including project and product implementations, partnering with Client Growth Management, Client Service Delivery and Project Delivery teams.

Role requires strong influencing and client-facing skills, with travel to FI and vendor locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; preferably in Systems or Business Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ten years of experience in a client support environment.
• Five years of financial services experience.
• Five years of experience in credit, debit and/or eCommerce preferred.
• Understanding of project management best practices and six sigma methodologies preferred.
• PgMP or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and relationships: identify FI program needs and support strategic roadmap delivery.
• Manage FI program needs with accountability for program initiatives across Velera.
• Plan, execute, and deliver multiple programs aligning teams to FI goals.
• Lead partnerships with Velera units, vendors and partners for timely execution.
• Produce program status reports, KPI metrics and business reviews for executives.
• Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies within the portfolio.
