Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program. You will apply regulatory knowledge to card marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship compliant features from concept to launch.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in compliance advisory within financial services with card experience.
• Deep knowledge of EFTA, Reg E, Reg Z, CARD Act, Reg DD, and UDAAP.
• Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and make risk-based decisions.
• Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations early in product lifecycles.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain complex issues to non-compliance audiences.
• Willingness to present to senior leadership and committees.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program.
• Provide risk-based guidance across marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing.
• Review and approve card marketing disclosures and UX for regulatory alignment.
• Lead root-cause analysis and durable remediation of compliance issues.
• Support regulatory exams and bank audits with Compliance Testing, Legal, and Risk.
• Maintain the Card program's compliance risk assessment and control inventory.
• Develop and maintain Card-specific compliance training materials.
• Serve as go-to compliance expert on new Card features.
