Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own advisory for the AFFIRM Card program, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver compliant features. You will navigate complex regulations and drive durable remediation, influencing the product lifecycle from conception through launch.

You will apply deep knowledge of EFTA, Reg Z, UDAAP, and related rules, while leading risk-based decisions in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with stakeholders across the company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a compliance advisory role within financial services with card/payments experience.
• Deep knowledge of Reg E, Reg Z/CARD Act, Reg DD, and UDAAP; familiarity with card networks.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments; risk-based decisions.
• Experience advising Product, Engineering, and Operations on card programs; focus on control remediation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program across marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing.
• Lead root-cause analysis and durable remediation of card compliance issues.
• Support regulatory exams and audits with cross-functional partners.
• Maintain and update the Card program's compliance risk assessment and control inventory.
