Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship compliant card features.

You will apply EFTA Reg E, TILA Reg Z, CARD Act concepts, lead root‑cause analyses, and guide regulatory exams while balancing business needs and consumer protection. This role requires independent judgment in ambiguous environments and the ability to present complex regulatory issues to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of compliance advisory experience in financial services.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degrees welcome.
• Strong knowledge of EFTA (Reg E), TILA (Reg Z), CARD Act, and UDAAP.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program across marketing, onboarding, disputes, and servicing.
• Provide risk-based guidance and decision-making in ambiguous situations.
• Lead remediation and root-cause analysis for regulatory issues and support audits.
