Job summary

Affiirm is building a de novo bank and seeks a senior operations leader to own Finxact core and digital banking platforms, directing deposit and lending operations while partnering with servicing teams to build resilient, well-controlled processes.

You will design scalable workflows, lead an Operations team, and coordinate with Compliance, Risk, and Product to deliver transparent, reliable financial products in a remote-first environment across the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in banking operations or core platform delivery.
• Experience with core banking platforms and modern cloud-native systems.
• Experience leading teams and operating in a regulated financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Own Finxact core system implementation, configuration, and administration.
• Lead operational delivery for digital accounts and online/mobile experiences.
• Oversee deployment readiness, testing, and cutover activities.
• Direct daily deposit operations including reconciliations and regulatory reporting.
• Manage lending operations, underwriting validation, and funding approvals.
• Oversee loan purchase/sale operations and audit readiness.
• Develop and maintain governance, controls, and risk management processes.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and compliance teams to design scalable workflows.
