MVB Bank, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Fintech Pricing Strategy & Economics to lead profitability strategy for the Fintech division.

You will partner with senior Finance and Business Development leaders to set pricing, model profitability, and ensure client engagements align with the bank’s strategy. This role requires advanced Excel modeling, banking economics knowledge, and the ability to influence executives across cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field with 7+ years in banking/Fintech.
• Ability to construct complex and advanced Excel models; samples may be requested.
• Working knowledge of banking economics, including deposit pricing, earnings credit, and NIM drivers.
• Familiarity with Banking as a Service (BaaS) and payments business models.
• Familiarity with sponsor bank economics.
• Forecasting experience and analysis of unit economics and partner performance.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to influence executives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across levels of the organization.

Responsabilidades

• Own Fintech profitability strategy, including methodology, thresholds, and return requirements for evaluating Fintech relationships.
• Develop and maintain financial models and projections to assess client profitability and advise executive management.
• Prepare pricing recommendations for new Fintech clients across fee structures, deposit pricing, earnings credit, revenue share, minimum balances, and contract terms.
• Lead Finance review during initial client evaluation and present to the Fintech Oversight Committee.
• Communicate pricing requirements to the Fintech team and renegotiate contracts with clients as needed.
• Evaluate the profitability of the existing client portfolio and identify actions to improve returns.
• Collaborate with Head of Business Development, Fintech Division, and Chief Deposit Officer on strategy development.
• Serve as liaison for Fintech Finance with vendors, auditors, sponsor banks, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure data required to analyze unit economics and partner performance is accurate and timely.
