Job summary

Post University is seeking a remote Financial Aid Advisor to guide online students through payment options and the financial aid process, ensuring compliance with federal and institutional policies while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will collaborate with Admissions, Student Accounts, Registrar and Advising to verify documents, maintain accurate records, assist with high balances, and support retention efforts; 40 hours weekly with possible evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Solid understanding of Title IV funds, regulations, and eligibility.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and in person.
• Ability to work with a team to improve student experience.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise students on tuition payment plans and financial aid options.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Student Accounts, Registrar, and Advising to meet student needs.
• Verify financial aid documentation with packaging specialist and complete files.
• Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in university systems.
• Counsel students with high balances to identify financing solutions.
