Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant to build relationships with veterinary customers and sell IDEXX’s diagnostic devices and services across the Houston East region. You will drive recurring revenue through educated conversations and value-led solutions in clinics and hospitals.

You will travel as needed, train staff, and collaborate with regional teams to close capital equipment deals while modeling IDEXX values and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of proven outside sales territory experience.
• District/territory management experience in veterinary or medical device sales is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively and lift up to 60 pounds; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage your territory and base to increase recurring diagnostic revenue.
• Collaborate and co-sell with other IDEXX sales professionals in the region.
• Educate and train veterinary staff about IDEXX products and services.
• Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to marketing and management.
• Present IDEXX values professionally and attend regional trade shows and events.
• Manage expenses and resources in line with company guidelines.
