Job summary

IDEXX in San Francisco is seeking a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant to build strong relationships with veterinary customers and sell IDEXX’s diagnostic portfolio. You will translate customer needs into diagnostic solutions and become a valued partner in growing diagnostic revenue.

You will manage your territory with independence, educate clinics, and collaborate with regional teams to close capital equipment opportunities, while adhering to IDEXX values and guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven outside sales experience
• Territory management experience in veterinary/animal health or medical device sales
• Able to travel extensively and work weekends as needed
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to the San Francisco territory

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with veterinary customers to grow diagnostic revenue
• Sell IDEXX’s medical device diagnostics portfolio and capital equipment
• Educate clinic staff about products, services and marketing initiatives
• Co-sell with regional IDEXX sales professionals to close opportunities
• Communicate customer needs to marketing and management; resolve service issues
