IDEXX Laboratories, Inc in Houston seeks a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant (VDC) to build relationships with veterinary customers and sell IDEXX diagnostic products. You will use consultative selling to translate customer needs into diagnostic solutions and grow diagnostic revenue while partnering with regional sales teams.

You will educate clinics on IDEXX offerings, attend trade shows, manage territory expenses, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of proven outside sales experience managing your own territory.
• Experience in veterinary/animal health, human healthcare or medical device sales is preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively (company car provided) and lift up to 60 pounds; valid driver's license.
• You should be comfortable working in veterinary clinic and hospital environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage your territory and grow recurring diagnostic revenue year over year.
• Collaborate with regional teams to co-sell capital equipment and technology.
• Educate veterinary clinic staff about IDEXX products, services and marketing initiatives.
• relay customer needs and competitive issues to marketing and management.
• Present IDEXX values professionally and participate in trade shows and events.
• Manage expenses and resources in line with company guidelines.
