bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service instruments for customers across the region and nationally. The role requires remote work with overnight travel and a self-motivated approach to delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

You will perform installations, maintenance, upgrades and repairs, promote service agreements, and collaborate with sales and applications teams to grow field service revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Experience in field service or biomedical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Promote service agreements and identify cross-functional sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend 6–9 weeks of product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO offices within the first year.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and travel reports.
