bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across the territory, with national travel as needed. The role emphasizes installs, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs, all while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

You’ll build trust, promote service agreements, and support cross-functional teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of relevant experience, along with a valid driver’s license and strong technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 2+ years of professional experience troubleshooting/repair of complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs using electronic and computer skills.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities for cross-functional teams.
• Foster teamwork across service and support and drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend 6–9 weeks of product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO offices in the first year; future trainings as needed.
• Travel includes scheduled and unscheduled visits with potential overnight travel and on-call rotation.
