Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across the territory, with national travel as needed. The role requires a self-starter attitude, remote work capability, and the ability to handle overnight travel on short notice.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of instruments, building client relationships, and promoting service agreements. Training starts in year one with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 6+ years of related experience as specified.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and/or repair of complex electro‑mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Promote service agreements and identify sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend product trainings within the first year; travel as needed.
• Travel for customer visits including overnight stays; participate in on‑call rotation.
• Complete work orders, QA checklists, and training requirements accurately.
