Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across the assigned territory and nationally as needed. The role requires remote work with occasional overnight travel and the ability to start training in Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO within the first year.

You will respond to service needs, perform installations, upgrades, and repairs, and promote service agreements while driving cross-functional collaboration to expand service capabilities. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, or Biomedical Science.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting or repair experience on complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, or electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to ensure instruments meet specifications.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities for cross-functional teams.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend six to nine weeks of product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO offices within the first year.
• Travel includes scheduled and unscheduled visits, with overnight stays as needed.
