Job summary

bioMerieux Inc. is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across the assigned region and nationally as needed. The role requires remote work capability, overnight travel on short notice, and a focus on delivering best-in-class customer experience.

Key duties include installations, maintenance, repairs, and promoting service agreements. Training is provided at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO, with extensive travel and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, or Biomedical Science.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting/repair experience for complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Education Substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs; perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to meet specs.
• Build relationships; promote service agreements; identify sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue via preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO within the first year.
• Travel for customer visits; overnight stays as needed; on-call rotation.
