Axon is seeking a Professional Services Manager – Field Services to serve as a customer-facing deployment expert responsible for implementing, configuring, validating, troubleshooting, and supporting Axon public safety technology in the field. This hands-on role covers pre-install planning, site readiness, installation, training, documentation, and handoff.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on technical deployment, field service, or equivalent experience.
Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and troubleshooting.
Experience deploying technology in IP-based networks.
Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, wireless, and cellular.
Hands-on experience installing, configuring, supporting, or troubleshooting network-connected hardware/software.
Windows operating systems knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across hardware, software, networking and infrastructure.
Direct, customer-facing experience in technical environments.
Ability to own technical projects from prep to completion.
Ability to read and follow technical docs and deployment procedures.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking.
Ability to travel extensively in the United States; valid driver’s license; lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Lead deployments from preparation through customer handoff.
Serve as onsite Axon technical lead and point of contact.
Install, configure, commission, validate, and support Axon hardware/software.
Verify site readiness, infrastructure, power, access, and prerequisites.
Conduct field commissioning and system validation.
Manage multiple deployments and changing priorities with high technical standards.
Identify deployment risks and coordinate with customers and internal teams.
Ensure installations are complete, professional, documented, and supportable.
Provide technical direction to third‑party installation teams as needed.
Train customer administrators and end users on deployed technologies.
