Job summary

BD is a global medical technology leader providing Pyxis automated dispensing systems support across healthcare facilities. The role requires remote field-based work with daily travel to customer sites within a defined territory.

Candidates should reside within 30 miles of the base location in Lubbock/Amarillo TX, with up to 5% overnight travel. You will diagnose, service, and maintain both hardware and software, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• On-call experience in a customer-facing/field service environment.
• Experience with computer electronics, Windows OS, and networking.
• CompTIA A+ Certification.
• Medical device or electromechanical device service/repair experience.
• Customer Support Certification.
• Valid driver's license meeting BD's auto safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems.
• Diagnose, service, and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, and provide sales support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and inventory.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Manage company assets (vehicle, tools, inventory) responsibly.
