Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Pyxis Dispensing Devices to deliver field service support across a territory, including installation, maintenance, calibration, and repairs. This remote, field-based role requires travel to customer sites, within a 30-mile radius of the base, with a company vehicle provided and occasional overnight travel.

Associate degree or 5–7 years of equivalent tech support experience.
Must possess CompTIA A+ and Customer Support Certification.
Experience with Windows OS, networking, and electromechanical medical devices.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive technical support for BD Pyxis systems, including remote troubleshooting and on-site service.
Perform preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, calibrations, and customer training.
Maintain inventory and secure company assets.
Document service activities, expenses, and time distribution.
Demonstrate troubleshooting for hardware and software; escalate when needed.
Pursue ongoing product training and knowledge of procedures including MDR and complaint handling.
