Job summary
BD is seeking a remote field-based technician to support Pyxis automated dispensing systems across healthcare facilities. You will travel to customer sites within an assigned territory, diagnose hardware and software issues, and perform installations and preventive maintenance.
Required qualifications include field service experience, Windows and networking skills, and a CompTIA A+ certification. A valid driver’s license and customer support experience are essential.
Qualifications
- On-call experience in a customer-facing/field service environment.
- Experience with computer electronics, Windows OS, and networking.
- CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Medical device or electromechanical device service/repair experience.
- Customer Support Certification.
- Valid driver's license meeting BD's auto safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems.
- Diagnose, service, and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, and provide sales support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and inventory.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Manage company assets (vehicle, tools, inventory) responsibly.
