Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a remote IT/Field Service Technician for the US Federal Government Markets Division. You will provide on-site and remote upgrades, troubleshooting of ASTRO systems, and support for secure communications infrastructure.

This role requires 2+ years IT experience, networking and security principles, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Travel up to 75–80% across the continental US; domestic commitments predominate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician or field service.
• Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of ASTRO systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot in IT-type environments with LAN/WAN.
• Maintain and document complex communications systems and generate weekly reports.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, engineering and support teams.
