Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a remote Field Service Technician to support ASTRO system upgrades and troubleshooting for U.S. federal clients. You will work across IT networking, cybersecurity concepts and Active Directory while providing on-site and remote service.

Travel up to 75–80% is expected, with eligibility for required security clearances. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT/Networking/Field Service and strong communication skills, plus the ability to work with Motorola teams and customers

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service or system technician roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain/hold security clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Install, configure and maintain LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and related network gear.
• Support cybersecurity principles and IT administration tasks in a field environment.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, engineering and support teams to resolve issues.
• Document activities and provide weekly reports.
