Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced IT/Field Service Technician for the US Federal Governments Markets Division. The role involves on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of ASTRO systems, with emphasis on networking, cybersecurity, AD administration, and collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Candidates should have 2+ years in IT or related fields, be able to manage and document complex systems, and be prepared for travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency or land mobile radio.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and pass background checks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Maintain, optimize, test and document complex communications systems; provide weekly reports.
• Administer and troubleshoot in IT environments with LAN/WAN, networking gear, and security controls.
• Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and Motorola Solutions teams to resolve issues.
