Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician for the U.S. Federal Markets Division. The role involves on-site and remote upgrades of ASTRO systems, troubleshooting, and integration across LAN/WAN networks with strong security focus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency, or land mobile radio.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.
• Willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP within first 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot in an IT-type environment; document activities and reports.
• Maintain and optimize complex communications systems, including RF and data infrastructure.
