Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician/Specialist to perform on-site and remote upgrades, troubleshoot ASTRO systems, and support complex communication networks. Your role includes admin tasks in IT environments, documenting activities, and communicating with customers and internal teams.

Candidate should have 2+ years in IT/networking, proficiency with LAN/WAN, and willingness to pursue Security+ or CISSP within 12 months.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency, or land mobile radio.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract(s).
• Willingness to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP within first 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot in an IT-type environment; maintain complex communications systems.
• Produce weekly reports of activities and accomplishments.
• Collaborate with customers and Motorola Solutions teams including sales, engineering, project management, and customer support.
