Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site and remote upgrades for ASTRO systems across the US. You will troubleshoot networking, Cyber Security basics, Active Directory, and LMR communications, with strong IT operation skills. Travel up to 75–80% is required; candidates must be U.S.

citizens and able to obtain security clearances. The role offers competitive benefits and a clear path to certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Troubleshoot networking, Cyber Security basics, Active Directory Administration, and LMR communications.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and document complex communications systems; provide weekly reports.
