Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced technician for on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of ASTRO systems in the U.S. Federal market. The role demands strong IT/networking capabilities, security-minded practices, and the ability to work closely with customers and internal teams.

Candidates should have 2+ years in IT, networking, or field service, and be willing to travel up to 75–80% domestically and internationally. A U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency, or land mobile radio.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract(s).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Maintain, optimize, test and document complex communications systems; provide weekly activity reports.
• Administer and troubleshoot in IT-type environments; configure networking gear and security.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams (sales, engineering, PM, support) to ensure successful deployments.
