Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service professional to install and support major and minor video deployments at client sites, including Azure, Linux, and Windows environments. You will train end users and provide technical guidance to partners during hardware deployments.

You must have strong networking and IT skills, 3+ years in field service, and the ability to travel up to 75%. A background clearance may be required for government customers, with a base salary range of $85,000–$95,000

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher with 3+ years in LMR, RF systems, Radio Communications, and Public Safety IT.
• CompTIA Certifications and background clearance may be required for government customers.
• Ability to obtain background clearance as required by our government customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out major and minor installations and support Motorola Video applications at client sites (Azure, Linux, or Windows).
• Install and support in-car video and body-worn camera hardware.
• Train end users on end-to-end usage of the video system.
• Provide consultation and/or expert advice to Partners or Customers during hardware deployments.
• Work with IT environments and assist customer IT resources to resolve IT issues including networking, port protocols, and server maintenance.
• Generate technical deployment documentation and field trip reports.
