Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service professional to perform major and minor installations and support Motorola Video applications at client sites. You will train users, install In-Car Video and Body Worn Camera hardware, and provide expert guidance on deployments across Azure, Linux, or Windows environments.

Travel up to 75% is required; a background check may be required for government customers. A High School diploma or higher plus 3+ years in related areas is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, Technical Certificates, or Associate's, or Bachelor's degree, plus 3+ years of experience in one of the following areas: LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, Radio Frequency, Motorola equipment, Wireless Communication Systems, IT Systems, Mobile or Fixed Video Systems, Telecommunications, and Public Safety experience required.
• Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by government customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out major and minor installations and support Motorola Video applications at client sites.
• Install and support In-Car Video and Body Worn Camera hardware and train end users.
• Provide consultation and expert advice to Partners or Customers on deployments.
• Work in IT environments and assist customer IT resources with networking, port protocols and server maintenance.
• Generate technical field trip reports and deployment documentation.
