Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform major and minor installations and support Motorola Video applications at client sites. These deployments can be Azure cloud based, Linux based, or Windows based depending on the customer.

You will train end users, provide consultation to partners or customers, and work with customer IT resources to resolve networking and server maintenance issues. Travel up to 75% is required, and a valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, technical certificates, or higher with 3+ years in LMR, RF, or IT systems.
• CompTIA Certifications are required.
• Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by government customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out major and minor installations and support Motorola Video applications at Client sites.
• Install and support In-Car Video and Body Worn Camera hardware.
• Train end users on functionality of end to end usage of the video system.
• Provide consultation and/or expert advice to Partners or Customers who are executing hardware deployments on behalf of Motorola Solutions.
• Work effectively in IT environments and assist customer IT resources with networking and server maintenance.
