Job summary
Honeywell Technologies is seeking a field service engineer in Houston, TX to support Honeywell Process Solutions installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex DCS systems such as Experion PKS, TPS, and related hardware. You will be the customer’s primary interface, perform configuration, upgrades, and on-site support, with travel up to 75% and potential relocation to South Texas if needed.
A technical degree and customer service mindset are required.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of field service engineering or related technical roles.
- Exposure to DCS automation control and instrumentation systems is preferred.
- Able to learn new technologies and disciplines.
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of Honeywell control systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300).
- Be the primary face of Honeywell for the customer, providing daily implementation, administration and troubleshooting of HPS products.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and provide first-response technical support.
- Deliver technical presentations to customers and peers.
- Travel up to 75% and may work off-hours, weekends, or holidays.
