Job summary
Honeywell Technologies in the United States is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to provide advanced technical support, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization for industrial instrumentation and control systems at customer sites. You will work from our New York location with a remote work schedule and travel extensively to customer sites across the region.
You will report to the Field Service Manager and collaborate with project teams to perform system startup,
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in field service or process controls.
- Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and control systems.
- Experience with electrical schematics and P&IDs.
- Ability to travel 75-95% to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, startup, calibrate, and maintain process instrumentation and control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with field instrumentation and PLC/DCS/SCADA.
- Configure and validate devices to meet specifications.
- Perform loop checks and functional testing during projects.
- Support PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems including hardware and software.
- Read electrical schematics and P&IDs to troubleshoot.
- Collaborate with customers and teams to complete service activities.
- Provide training and detailed service reports.
