Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair and install products at customer sites, with remote work options and travel across regions. You will perform electrical and mechanical testing, handle spare parts, and support service agreements to grow the service business.

The role reports to the Area Service Manager as part of the Hardware Solutions team, with a focus on Durham, NC and surrounding areas. Travel up to 45–55% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field.
• 2+ years diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical equipment (or military equivalent).
• Strong aptitude for installation, testing and preventive maintenance of complex equipment.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily service repair needs and ensure customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.
• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and spare parts management.
• Drive service business growth through service agreements and equipment leads.
