Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Intuitive products in the assigned territory, ensuring service agreements and warranties are fulfilled and customer expectations exceeded. This role requires electro‑mechanical system expertise, formal training, and strong communication.

Travel up to 60% within policy; reside within 30 miles of territory; flex/second shifts may be required.

Qualifications

1–3 years of Field Service experience preferred.
Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent training/experience preferred.
Proven track record of troubleshooting electro‑mechanical systems preferred.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Strong administrative and record keeping skills.
Ability to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1,200 lbs.

Responsibilities

Install, support, troubleshoot, repair and maintain Intuitive products in the assigned territory.
Perform system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates and upgrades.
Coordinate system delivery and installation; ensure HIPAA and OR protocol compliance.
Maintain inventory, field reports, and other admin tasks within required timeframes.
Travel up to 60% and support cross‑functional teams as needed.
