Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain robotic systems within your designated territory. You will ensure service commitments are met, provide strong customer support, and collaborate with hospital teams to keep equipment operating at peak performance.

The role requires travel up to 75%, weekend/off-hour coverage when needed, and the ability to coordinate installations, trainings, and preventive maintenance at facilities

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent training/experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work off hours.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. and move wheeled objects up to 1,200 lbs.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products within the designated area.
• Meet and exceed service level agreements and warranty obligations.
• Document service activities and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate system and hardware delivery and installation.
• Provide training sessions at facilities and hospitals.
• Maintain inventory and company assets.
• Assist Sales and Genesis teams as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
