Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products in a remote/hybrid territory. The role requires electro‑mechanical expertise, strong customer service, and the ability to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities include system maintenance, installation coordination, and compliance with OR/HIPAA standards, plus administrative duties and asset upkeep.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Field Service Experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent training/experience preferred.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting electro‑mechanical systems preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong administrative and record keeping skills.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1,200 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance for your territory, including inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and equipment within your territory.
• Coordinate delivery and installation of systems and hardware.
• Adhere to OR protocol and HIPAA standards.
• Complete administrative duties (spare parts inventory, Field Activity Reports, expense reports, etc.).
• Maintain company assets and assist cross‑functional teams as required.
• Provide feedback and participate in continuous improvement projects.
