Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to join our remote-enabled team. You will install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain products within your territory, ensuring warranty obligations are met and customer expectations are exceeded.

The role involves extensive travel (up to 75%), weekend/shift work, and collaboration with hospitals and care teams to deliver uninterrupted patient care. Strong electro-mechanical expertise and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel up to 75% as required by the role.
• Willing to perform ad hoc tasks as directed by management.
• Reside within ~30 miles of the assigned territory or designated area.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with department and company policies.
• Provide quarterly reviews and assessments of the assigned area.
• Document service activities accurately and report to stakeholders.
• Complete all administrative tasks in the required time frame.
• Provide technical support to end-users and Intuitive employees.
• Conduct trainings at facilities, training centers, and hospitals.
• Perform preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products within timeframes.
• Coordinate system and hardware delivery and installation.
• Maintain HIPAA and OR protocol compliance.
• Manage parts inventory, field reports, and expense reports.
• Maintain company assets such as tools and devices.
• Support Sales and Genesis teams and provide hospital contacts.
• Provide feedback to HQ and participate in process improvements.
• Complete required training including Intuitive University classes.
