Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a remote Dispatcher to support a growing field service operation. This 100% remote role involves scheduling, dispatching, and customer communication, coordinating service technicians who travel to customer locations to repair and maintain equipment.

You will review work orders, assign calls, manage technician schedules, handle high-volume workloads, and communicate updates to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience
• Customer service experience
• Experience managing schedules and high-volume workloads
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle changing priorities and difficult customer situations
• Basic Excel skills, including sorting and filtering
• Salesforce experience is a plus
• Stable work history with demonstrated tenure
• Ability to stay productive and accountable in a fully remote environment

Responsibilities

• Review incoming work orders through Salesforce
• Assign service calls to the appropriate field technicians
• Manage technician schedules, routes, and service appointments
• Schedule upcoming work across multiple service territories
• Monitor high-volume work order activity and adjust schedules as priorities change
• Communicate delays, schedule changes, and appointment updates to customers
• Handle escalated service requests and customer concerns
• Communicate regularly with technicians, account managers, sales, and customer service teams
• Manage frequent phone and email communication throughout the day
