Job summary

Aston Carter is hiring a Remote Dispatcher to support a field service operation. You will coordinate service technicians, review work orders in Salesforce, and keep customers updated on progress while maintaining high service levels.

This fully remote role requires strong communication, scheduling discipline, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The position is a 10-12 month contract with potential for permanent hire, offering exposure to Salesforce and field operations technology.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience managing schedules and high-volume workloads.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and difficult customer situations.
• Basic Excel skills, including sorting and filtering.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Stable work history with demonstrated tenure.
• Ability to stay productive and accountable in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming work orders through Salesforce.
• Assign service calls to the appropriate field technicians.
• Manage technician schedules, routes, and service appointments.
• Schedule upcoming work across multiple service territories.
• Monitor high-volume work order activity and adjust schedules as priorities change.
• Communicate delays, schedule changes, and appointment updates to customers.
• Handle escalated service requests and customer concerns.
• Communicate regularly with technicians, account managers, sales, and customer service teams.
• Manage frequent phone and email communication throughout the day.
