Aston Carter is hiring a Remote Dispatcher to support a growing field service operation. You will coordinate service technicians who travel to customer locations to repair and maintain equipment, primarily from a home office within about 75 miles of Chicago, IL.

The role emphasizes scheduling, dispatching, customer communication, and problem-solving. You will review work orders in Salesforce, assign calls to technicians, manage schedules, and keep customers informed of changes throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and difficult customer situations.
• Stable work history with demonstrated tenure.
• Ability to stay productive in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming work orders through Salesforce.
• Assign service calls to field technicians.
• Manage technician schedules, routes, and service appointments.
• Schedule upcoming work across multiple service territories.
• Monitor high-volume work order activity and adjust schedules as priorities change.
• Communicate delays, schedule changes, and updates to customers.
• Handle escalated service requests and customer concerns.
• Communicate with technicians, account managers, sales, and customer service teams.
• Manage frequent phone and email communication throughout the day.
